Dr. Joe Caroccio received all of his degrees from Nova Southeastern University: Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Psychology Degree. Joe is the founder and owner of Atlantic Rehabilitation Center which began operating in 2002. He has fulfilled his dream by developing a company with an outstanding environment for his patients, employees and the community.

Joe has taken various manual therapy courses and has extensive experience in treating injuries to the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle. As a clinical instructor at local universities, he is instrumental in educating students in physical therapy and athletic training. Joe has presented educational lectures to schools, teams, health clubs and the athletic trainers association (ATAF), regarding athletic injuries, FIFA11+, biomechanics of kicking in soccer (instep versus side foot kick), prevention and treatment for ACL tears, rehabilitation & training after an ankle sprain, running mechanics, training the elite athlete, concussions, core strengthening, living with multiple sclerosis, exercises for the elderly, women health issues, nutrition, and weight loss.

Joe designs athletic, strength and rehabilitation programs for athletes in the following leagues: MLS, NASL, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, college, high school and youth. His programs successfully treat and prepare athletes to compete at all levels. Coaches, medical personnel, team doctors, agents and scouts utilize his knowledge, experience and programs to analyze athletes. Joe also attends the professional combines annually and travels around the country visiting teams to discuss the athlete’s performance and progress.

Dr. Joe Caroccio is a well known medical professional in the soccer world. He has a wealth of soccer experience and knowledge in the game. Joe participated in soccer as a player, coach (USSF National “B” Licensed) and Major League Soccer Referee. He is the Head Athletic Trainer and Medical Team Coordinator for the MiamiFC.

He has experience in treating injuries to the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle. As a clinical instructor at local universities, he is instrumental in educating students in physical therapy and athletic training.
